• Advised an international banking organization on political and security developments in East Asia.
• Counseled a U.S. Global Investment Fund on how to understand U.S. military operations in Afghanistan and how the War on Terrorism affects international security and thus international markets.
• Advised the U.S. Commission on National Security /21st Century (Hart-Rudman Commission) on National Security Council and State Department reorganization and Defense personnel management proposals, and developed and managed the Commission’s congressional and public affairs strategies.
• Conceived and implemented a communications and public affairs plan for the National Commission on Terrorism (Bremer Commission).
• Advised a U.S. commission on combating the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (Deutch Commission) on reorganizing the government’s national security policy making apparatus, and planned and managed the commission’s public affairs strategy.
