The Center for Peace and Security Studies (CPASS)
The Center for Peace and Security Studies (CPASS) brings together the many people at Georgetown University who study international peace and security issues from all relevant disciplines, departments, regional, and functional programs. It is a dynamic hub of research activity and events for the academic and policy communities in Washington, DC, and around the globe. CPASS provides a broader institutional base for the Security Studies Program (SSP), the largest graduate program focused on the theory and practice of security. CPASS and SSP are housed within the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, the oldest and largest school of international affairs in the United States designed to prepare students and professionals for careers in the public, private, and non profit sectors.
